Different Services for Different Sundays of the Month

 
MACC currently has 3 types of services depending on the week of the month. We hope to accommodate a variety of needs during this unique season as well as keep things fresh and new!
 
FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD SUNDAYS (11:30 AM): Community Livestream Service on Zoom (Meeting ID: 648 385 3287 / Passcode: church)
 
LAST SUNDAY (1:30 PM): In-Person Service 

In-Person Service Reservations

In-Person services will be held at 1:30 PM on the last Sunday of the month in the courtyard of Hillside Church – Lucas Valley (2000 Las Gallinas Ave., San Rafael). Given social distancing guidelines and the size of the courtyard, seating capacity is limited. As a result, we are asking attendees to reserve seats prior to attending. You can use the link below to reserve your seats. Note: All reservations must be made by the SATURDAY before each service.

 
 
 
Parents: We are excited to offer a separate MACC Kids Children’s Church experience (pre-K to 6th). Please reserve your seats first, then reserve their spots using the second link. All other ages are welcome to attend with their parents as long as they are able to follow our gathering guidelines and remain in their seat for the duration of the service (45 minutes).
 
Need to cancel? Please do so here as soon as possible, so that we can release your seats. You may also use the “Cancel Registration” button on your confirmation email.

What are you doing to make these services safe during COVID?
 
We take the safety and health of our congregation very seriously. To make these services as safe as possible, we will be following the safety precautions and guidelines below. These include:
 
  • Wearing masks at all times
  • Observing 6ft social distancing at all times
  • Disinfecting touched surfaces before and after each service
  • Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the courtyard
  • Taking temperatures before entering the courtyard
  • Attendees arriving together in the same vehicle may sit next to one another; otherwise, seats will be spaced out approximately 6ft apart from other seats
  • Attendees should arrive no earlier than 1:15PM, so that volunteers and leaders can have time to set-up

Why do we need to reserve a seat? 

In order to maintain social distancing, we need to limit the number of people attending each service. Reservations allow us to ensure that all who attend will have a seat, as well as allow us to track who attends the service for safety reasons.

What if I reserved seats but can no longer attend?  

If you reserved seats and will no longer be able to attend or are not feeling well, please email us ASAP, so that we can we release your seats. You may also use the “Cancel Registration” button on your confirmation email.

Will services be cancelled due to poor weather?  

Our outdoor service will be cancelled if the weather is poor. If we decide we cannot meet, we will email attendees prior to the service, and we will have a Community Livestream Service over Zoom (Meeting ID: 648 385 3287 / Passcode: church)

Is there something for my kids?

We will have a separate MACC Kids gathering for children pre-K to 6th grade led by Pastor Jeff in a separate outdoor area of the church. All other ages are welcome to attend with their parents as long as they are able to follow our gathering guidelines and remain in their seat for the duration of the service (45 minutes). All children must adhere to the safety guidelines above (masks, social distancing, temperature checks, etc.)
 
What if I don’t want to attend in-person?
If you choose not to attend our in-person outdoor service, we will be livestreaming the service at macc.online.church.
